A LITTLE NOTE,
ABOUT LITTLE ME

I am known as a multi instrumentalist, from a very young age I was studying piano and flute at my local school which influenced me to pursue a further education within music.

Over the years, my musical ambition had driven me to learn a further two instruments which included the tenor saxophone & the pedal harp.

Once I had achieved my various degrees from college, I went straight into working on the P&O cruise ships as a musician. During my ship contracts I was auditioning for Universities and Conservatoires, which is when I decided to accept a place at the University of Southampton studying a BA in Music.

Since graduating with a high 2:1, I stayed to work within the Hampshire area for a few years getting involved within various music projects & bands. Since 2021, I have relocated to Bristol and I am now exploring the wonderful music scene and their venues within Gloucester, Somerset, Wiltshire and Wales surroundings.

WHY I LOVE WHAT I DO

No matter how many times I play a piece of music, it's never performed in the same way. Music feeds off not only the musicians emotions but as well as the listeners within the room. If I'm performing at an event that has a party atmosphere then my playing will mirror that vibe. But sometimes at a booking, less can be more... and that is an even more special moment.

Not everyone can say that they work at a job that they love, but I really do. I create my own hours, I can be doing emails at 7am as well as 11pm. I don't really have a clock for when I stop and start working. Music is everywhere from the films and tv that I watch to the radio that I listen to when driving to bookings. Therefore, it's constantly inspiring me with new ideas whilst making me want to be a better musician. From arranging, teaching and editing on social media, every aspect of my job (maybe not the tax return part) is enjoyable to me.
